Regulating the on Line Space

Sometimes what's overlooked in the on line debates is that it's just treated very differently from, you know, debates about the physical world. So to the extent in a free society and a democracy, we still have guard rails for notions of what we thinko with our freedoms like freedom of speech or assembly. If we want to regulate the on line space, it doesn't mean that we're curtailing people's freedom in a greater sense. It means that what we're trying to do is find what are the appropriate frameworks in the same way we did in the physical world to apply to the on line world.
