The Effect of Training Stress on Performance

As we work harder, time seems to slow down. At low intensities, you can increase the intensity and you get a kind of dose response type of sensation. But once you cross the lacta threshold, you increase a little bit, it feels a whole lot harder. Time needs to be structured according to how hard the session is not simply treated as if every second were the same. We found the performance dropped by the same amount regardless of whether hey as a five minute or a 20 minute session.
