The Importance of Macro Policies in Globalization

The environment in which individuals make decisions is determined by in part by government policy elite policies. NAFTA, Uruguay Round of Trade Talks and admission of China into the WTO were all legislative actions that dramatically affected the structure of the system. So I'm someone here who's a blue collar worker. I don't have a college degree. I'm looking for work. What kind of work I can find, how much money I can make is heavily influenced by these macro policies.
