The Story of Alcor Technologies Inc.

In 1991, St. Petersburg faced food shortages and was on the brink of famine. The city government authorized for private dealers to export their goods in a bid to raise money. At this same time, Alcor began looking into exporting red mercury. A new pass-through company was formed called Palmer which would serve as the middleman between Alcor and any red mercury buyers. It is unclear whether Alcor or Palmer actually ever sold any red mercury; if they did, what that red mercury was.
