Playback Scripting

With playback, you don't have a script supervisor that's looking at the shot and then remembering. I was always trying to look at it in real time because I thought I could see more details. The director always would want you to be by him. They usually now sit with a director looking at a monitor in a black tent of 100 yards from the set or whatever.
