Are There Any Connections Between Glastonbury and Avalon?
In 19 98, archaeologists found a bronze age burial at the foot of south cadbury hill in somerset. This seems to resonate with stories of souls being carried across a waterway to a far land or an island that represents the world of the dead. The prow of the boat is directed straight towards glastonbury tor, which is on the horizon, ten miles away.
