The Theocracy in Iran - The United Nations Says They're Killing People by Example
The United Nations has accused the government of Iran of weaponizing the death penalty. The trials leading to those four executions did not meet the internationally recognized legal minimum for what defines a fair trial, U.N. official says. At least 17 other protesters have been sentenced to death, according to Volker Turk, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.
