The White Church Tradition and Its Importance

We have this shame brought on by the expectations of whiteness, and then we engage in a eurocentric and whitening russians of the faith to alleviate that shame. Now we don't look to the black church tradition as a source of strength and identity and dignity. We're searching for something to t to bring a healthy amount of pride and restoration in a context that was explicitly, and often still is, explicitly anti black.
