CHAPTER

The Benefits of Direct Instruction

direct instruction very closely related in many of its ideas to all of this stuff about cognitiveism so I felt like it was worth a punt just to mention it for a second okay. When you put behaviorism, cognitiveism and constructivism in the same pool it's really weird it's a really weird thing to do. Most people from my experience who talk about constructivism talk about it as if it were groundbreaking and new they're like I have a new philosophy a new way of teaching.
