The book was six years in the making, but I'd say it's almost more like 10 years because you've used much of your research and concepts from the essays you've written during that entire period. One example that really stands out to me is from eight years ago when you wrote a post titled quote, the AI revolution, the road to super intelligence. In that essay, you write about what you called at that time, DPUs or die progress units, a way to measure a length of time in which enough progress has been made that someone from the past brought into the future would die upon witnessing all of the progress since then.
