Tat: For some people, the graphic details of christ's death will bring an incredible amount of comfort and healing. We can't understand everything, but tad collister said that that should not diminish our desire to know what is knowable. A powerful example comes from cory tenboom who was a christian who was hiding jews during the nosi regimen. She talked about one of the most humiliating parts of being in a concentration camp - weekly stripp searches. And they were all forced to stand naked while the guards inspected them. All of a sudden she had this thought, jesus was crucified naked. And she said, i didn't feel ashamed any more.
