Staying Motivated

I'm in the business of trying to incite or provoke laughter. When you do that and you're working with talented writers who are all remarkably funny in their own right, I'm really fortunate. A lot of laughter happens while you're doing that. And it's a wonderful way to spend your day. It's not onerous at all. The onerous part is, again, when you actually have to commit to paper or to binary code... That can be very difficult at times. Everything seems to lead back to that original area of perseverance. But as far as being motivated is concerned, when you make a television show ... there's a feeling of accomplishment and that's motivation enough.
