Delusion Is the Root of All the Unwholesome Actions of Our Body, Speech and Mind
Delusion is not inherent to consciousness. But it is a very deeply conditioned habit and tendency. When arises in moments of consciousness with amazing frequency, like almost all the time. And when delusion is arising with consciousness, it obscures the true nature of things. We don't see things as they are. Such as cloud cover will obscure the sun. Delusion is the root. This not seeing clearly is the root of all the unwholesome actions of our body, speech and mind. It's because of delusion, because of not seeing clearly.
