Hiring Managers Need to Think About Junior Engineers Now
As an industry, we are failing in that right now. Choosing the right place and applying to jobs where you're more likely to actually get the callback is probably a higher priority now than it was back in 2015. I feel like ghosting is just way, way too common. It's really sad how it's just the norm in business communication inside and outside of hiring. And this industry fully disrespects junior software engineers as far as I'm concerned. We need to do better.
