Gebecli Tepe - A Spectacular Site
Gebecli Tepe is a collection of monumental stone architecture built more than 6,000 years before the pyramids in Egypt or Stonehenge in Britain. The tea-shaped pillars can weigh as much as 10 tons and reach 20 feet in height. There is absolutely no evidence of any domesticated animals or plants on the site,. Only wild game and foraged foods.
