The Silicon Computer Is Not a Metabolizing Organism

A consciousness coming from the material, it would be magical. This isse bernardo's position. I don't see any reason to associate private, ine life to a silicon computer. It may simulate the flow of information in na inabiological organism, but again, a simulation is not the phenomenon. Phenomenon simulated a silicon computer is very, very different at a molecular level than a metobolizing organism. So you're not imagining perceptionin in the an persising kind of idea that iswe're insipably simulating a world all the time. That's not the way your thinking.
