The Home Office's Use of a Back Door to Stop Protests
The home office has been trying to find ways of stopping just off oil and before the extinction rebellion when they were doing their city occupations. In London we've had about 2000 people arrested specifically in relation to the just stop oil protests, 138 of them have spent time in prison so far for various criminal offenses relating to protest. The government tried to use that law to create a new definition of serious disruption of the life of the community but Parliament rejected it as 'vague is open to interpretation'
