Can the Canadian Government Regulate Facebook?

I am sceptical and dubious as to whether any of this regulation is going to do to anything effective soever. It's just like a game in which facebook keeps getting more powerful, governments continue to become less and less relevant. Unfortunately, none of them have the incentive to either a take on a powerful company like facebook. But really, it's about political will. And that's where, unfortunately, we're still not seeing that. Here in canada, there is sufficient expertise. The bidon administration has hired some of the best and brightest minds who understand not only what facebook is doing, but how to have our cake and eat it too.
