The Effects of Cities on the Environment

Every time you double the size of a city, you don't need twice as many gas stations or twice the length of the roads. You only need 85% as much, so you get this marvelous saving of economy of scale. Big cities are good in that way, but there's also an infrastructural and socioeconomic side to big cities. The bigger the city, not less per capita, the bigger the city more per capita, higher wages per capita, more sexy people per capita,. More patents per capita,More innovation per capita, all to the same degree - always 15% value added.
