The US Military's Engagement in the Nigerian Coup
The US has a good relationship with the Nigerian military. But if their leaders are involved in this coup, it's almost as if the US is not a comfortable place for the US to be. It looks like we're helping train the people who helped do the coup here. The country going through a lot of tough times. So the US cannot really afford to leave Niger regardless of the outcome now.
