The Importance of Free Will

If free will is an illusion, that means people cannot be held responsible for their actions because they don't have a choice. What you do have is the ability to weigh costs and benefits - so your lack of free will is why you have to be punished. So everybody who's using the word choosing or choice, you're not part of the logical argument. I can program myself to make different decisions in the future. But it isn't so much our own choices. We're changing. All right. Life changed when you realize there's no free will. You have no choice how to define it. The emergent is the key. No randomness simply exists. It's not the key
