In 1924, Chicago man Charles Reem claims he was attacked by two men who stole his balls. No one ever gets arrested in the case and no charges are filed. In 1935, German scientists invent synthetic testosterone testicular transplants that lead to modern medicine. New therapies are found and patients with ball transplants do not become avatars of vigor or strength.
