The Problem With the Henry VIII Powers on Steroids in the Bill
The bill creates a suite of powers that can be used to change the policy and regulatory regimes. The most egregious of these powers can be found in what is now clause 16. It would allow something as important as GDPR to effectively be completely rewritten by ministers with minimal oversight. This power therefore crushes all of EU law into one category that can be changed.
