Do You Have a DAO in the US?
If you are a US based entity, that is probably a no-no. The SEC will see that as a form of distribution to people who did not participate in the creation of the value. And so the waters are getting muddied, unfortunately, by enforcement action right now. But the idea is that that is based on the US regime and the structure that we have here with the SEC. If you do offshore, the rules may be different, and there are different jurisdictions that are offering different set of rules.
