The Importance of Understanding the Implementation

I kind of feel like software is always solving a problem in the real world for humans so like they do need to understand. Like if you don't understand the way your application behaves I think that's a big problem. But if the program's implemented a certain way and you do understand the behavior but you don't understanding the implementation I Think that's a lot less of a problem. It'd be fine to be able to talk to an AI because like the output of that is literally just like HTML.
