Didn't Work for Bayern Munich?

I think with Gretzka, I think Flick was trying to recreate the Bayern dynamic. Like, Kimmick got obviously dropping deep and orchestrating the player. But Gretzka came on more of a box to the box player,. They're trying to get someone who could get a guess and break into the box  to try and then attack the Japanese last line. So I understand the logic, it just didn't work. What did you make of Rudiger when he's chasing that ball back to see it out for a goal kick and just a silly run? Do you think he's just been a bit fun or do you think it's kind of that sort of sign
