The story of persephone and her mother, demeter is told in season six, episode one. They wanted these women for themselves, and they decided that they would take them. The men dropped helen off at theseus. Mother's house and then went to the underworld to pick up persephon. Unfortunately, when they arrived, they were greeted by hades.
