The Difference Between Enhancement and Treatment

Sometimes what starts out as a treatment or a replacement of a lost normal function could in fact be an enhancement. For example I had lysic surgery on my eyes because I was quite myopic and was tired of wearing glasses. When I had it I had them give me a little better than normal vision while they were at it. So you've already been enhanced? Right although that enhancement isn't keeping up with all the other deterioration that I'm suffering.
