The Total War Dilemma
CNN's John Sutter talks with author David Frum about the moral dilemma of nuclear war. He says there is a difference between total war and alternate forms of warfare such as fire bombings, which are different from bombing by day or night. The U.S. didn't want to bomb cities in World War II but had no other choice if they were going to win it, he says. "We live in an age where people don't like moral ambiguity," writes Frum.
