The History of Hess Castle

Hess Castle was a middle-sized collection of villages that otherwise survived through subsistence farming. In 1687, Hess Castle decided to lease some military forces to Venice. Almost 80% of the thousand men that they sent were killed. But those men fought well enough that they earned a reputation for being good, reliable soldiers.
