Normalization of Death in the Summer
Since then when we recorded that the tally in the United States was at 142,000. And this week we've just failed past 500,000. The EU as of yesterday also passed 800,000 deaths. One is about trying to get leverage to do something else in the present. But there's a different way in which one could normalize deaths: mystifying and compounding and conflating the reasons that they died in the past.
