Getting Scholarships in Round Two Versus Round One
The most obvious benefit of applying round one is that if you're just like, straight up accepted or denied somewhere, then you simply know earlier. At some programs, you might get a head start on finding housing, especially if you're planning to live off campus. Sometimes schools will let you know if you have to apply in round one in order too have visa issues figured out in time. And then one last thing i'll mention that may be applicable to some candidates is that finding out that you got into at least one of the programmes you applied to and around one, might give you the confidence to apply to some other programmes that maybe you thought were more like reach schools.
