Teaching History in a Living Way
All history becomes a part of life at school when it is present d as a living concept of time. People such as alfred the great, cromwell and others are made to seem as though they were ancestors. Children must not see it as just so much book learning. We must use every possible way to awaken a sense of history that lives with human be s in its flow. This is living perceptionour goal is to awaken a living perception of space.
