Women in STEM Careers Awareness Day
I don't think awareness days are necessarily always as beneficial as they could be and I think that they do lead to this sort of band wagon jumping let's do it for one day but not care about it the rest of the time thing which is more damaging than it is helpful in my opinion. On International Women's Day my timeline is absolutely filled with women who are saying what's the point when it's not changing when it does just seem to be this one day and that's really sad.
