The Nazi Party in the 1920s

The period after the failed Beer Hall push was a bit of a wilderness period for the Nazi party. It was not until Hitler was released from prison that things began to change. The most important change was a shift away from militant radicalism and instead a focus on becoming a party that participated in and sought to make changes through legal political methods available. This meant that the party would seek to build up its members and funding and it would use that funding to run for political offices around the country.
