The History of the Cassandra Syndrome
Cassandra syndrome is an experience that occurs when a person's feelings and needs are dismissed or ignored by others. This may be because the person who communicated clearly their needs, their feelings, in fact it didn't to the other person. The term Cassandra syndrome comes from Greek mythology. I'm talking about this through the lens of autistic people. A lot of people chose to point out to me in any kind of conversation I've had about this in the past that I'm simply wrong. How am I wrong?
