What's the Story Behind the AOL Acquisition of ICQ?
The first successful company is the one that just lets people talk to each other. Aim came from ICQ and which I think AOL acquired. No one knows why they bought it. It was an internal thing that AOL didn't want to do, but like people thought it was cool when they came through. Why are messaging platforms always internal things slack, discord, aim that are like not actually going to be a product?
