Xi Jinping and the Kimberly Farm
In 2012, when Xi Jinping came to Iowa, he stopped at this particular farm. He met the Kimberly's and spoke about China's place in the world. It was a surprising stop for an official who visited as a young official back in the 1980s. Some were he hoped to show China and the world that he was a man of the people. Much the same way his cave years did.
