Translating From Chinese to English - What's It Like?
Translating from chinese to english is an awesome thing, but it's just fun. I think people don't realize how much of an effect the translator has on the final product. My philosophy as a translator is that i want the reader to experience this work of fiction as closely as possible to the way that a native chinese speaker would when they were reading it.
