The Transcendental Unity of the Arts

I see that the signal power of beauty, especially manifested in music for me speaks of something that's truly transcendent. So is there a superordinate unity at which the arts aim and is that unity not equivalent to the monotheistic spirit? And I see that unitary spirit is what I think is the antithesis of power. It's so important, therefore, that the arts aren't curtailed in the way that they currently are being done.
