Brian Epstein and the Beatles

Brian Epstein was the manager of NEM Records in Liverpool. He met the Beatles when he went to see them play at their Cavern Club gig. The group were impressed, and soon had a studio session with Decca. On New Year's Day 1962 they made the trek down to London for 15 songs. They recorded three Lennon McCartney songs, two by Paul,. Love of the Love and Black Dreamers Do. This is also the month that they finally started including Lennon McCarantly's songs in their sets.
