Claudia is made director of the nuclear power plant in windon on her first day. She comes across a poodle with an uncanny resemblance to her childhood pet gretchen, who went missing in 19 53. The woman shows claudia the time machine and explains that she must stop a man called adam if she wants to save her daughter, regina. Claudia uses the time machine to travel to 20 20 where she sees her grown up daughter,Regina, ill with cancer. After a tearful reunion, they seek shelter in the bunker and survive the apocalypse.
