God's Hated Us, That's Why He's Let Us Out
Nephi saw it clearly in first nephi, when he was going through the same hard things of picking up and leaving jerusalem as his older brothers. The best verse on this is where nephi says that his brothers murmured because they knew not the dealings of that god who created them. To catch that the reason that they misunderstand their own experience is because they misjudge god. And we ought to be grateful when god does not yank the bar up the moment he sees us sweating. Oh, we have to know what god is truly like.
