Is It Possible for the Bible to Function as a World Vision?
Is it possible for the Bible to function as a world vision in JH Baving sense, another worldview? I think my first response to that will be it's quite a poor world vision. The driving figures of the biblical witness is a ferocious self-critique. So if you think about the prophets and what they are allowed to say about their own nation in the Old Testament, compared to, for example, what the Assyrians would have put up with,. or what the Babylonians would have allowed people to say and not to be killed for.
