The Story of Perkin Warbeck
Dana Schwartz: In September of 1497, a man was leading an army east from Cornwall toward Taunton. She says he claimed to be Perkin Warbeck, the son of a Belgian bureaucrat. He said he had once been a prince locked inside the Tower of London while his uncle Richard III claimed the throne for himself. Schwartz: The problem with telling the story of a pretender is you'll never know for sure which story to tell.
