In a sports analogy, the coach decides who will be on his team before they even get started. In scripture, God has chosen whoever's on his teame and anyone can come. The next question to ask layton is when did you get into christ? And we're getting a little ahead of ourselves with that question. But verse 13 tells us it's not about election or predestination; it's about being marked in Christ.
