Shers charmagne brown is a senior lecture in politics, education and cultural studies at the university of greenwich. She has been a peckham resident for around 35 years. Chamin: I just listened to the conversations ofat what i call the elders, thats the older and members of the generation windross generation. They felt they were voiceless. There's no one to tell their stories. Peckham had evolved and just theyd not left a footprint. In other words, they were wiped out of local history.
