The Campaign for Smoke-Free Airline Flights

In 1990, Congress made permanent the ban on smoking on domestic flights of two hours or less and expanded it to include all domestic flights of six hours or less. Flying nonstop from New York to LA is six hours and 25 minutes. You could smoke on that flight. Today in concert with the European Bureau for Action on Smoking Pollution, the Canadian Cancer Society kicked off the campaign for smoke-free skies worldwide.
