The Incomparability of Godliness
Pursuit of godliness, in relationship to such an incomparable god, is to be valued over everything else. Paul concludes by drawing timothy's attention to the many people who have wrecked their faith by turning aside and abandoning the charge that he has been given. By investing his riches in the service of the poor, he is storing up treasure for himself in heaven.
