The Conservative Party's Profile of the Steve-Inage Woman
In the Labour Party of late there's been a debate about whether or not they should be focusing on someone called the Steve-Inage Woman. The profile is that she is a suburban mother, perhaps in her early 40s,. That she's disillusioned with politics and possibly struggling with the cost of living. Part of that comes from America where we've seen so-called soccer moms and NASCAR dads. But I do think it also just speaks to the ways that we are trying to make sense of politics.
